Problem with editing and posting idea

I have my ideatorrent implementation in and generally working but am having a couple of problems.
The first is that if I post a secondary solution to an idea, I get an 'Access denied' message. This is done as just a normal user, not an administrator/moderator. I believe I must have some configuration wrong.
The second is that when I want to edit one of my existing ideas, the description of the problem statement is editable but the solution is not. Both the problem and solution were created by me. Could this be related to the first issue?
Any information is helpful.

Now, that bug has been replaced by new problems:
Try to start a thread, then edit the post. It is impossible. Try to remove it instead and replace it with the new post. It also doesn't work, both posts show - at least to me. ccnp certification Removing the second one is not possible, either.
In the topic list, however, it looks like the initial post has no replies, so maybe one of these posts is not visible to others. 1Y0-A05
